August 1 ARTwalk

We are back after taking the July ARTwalk off to celebrate the 4th.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  I spent the 4th at the Newel House for a traditional holiday with a reading of the Declaration of Independence and singing patriotic songs.  Beautiful location, history, friends and of course great eats.

For ARTwalk this month we have some real highlights.  Check out Art Elements Gallery for thier one woman show Dreamscapes by Lori Latham wutg the artist reception on July 26 from 4-6 pm
Francis Square will also be busy with the Jazz sounds of the Newberg Brass.  A local 5 man jazz and brass band with over 20 years.

Our featured artist this month is Whitney Ferweda with traditional and digital artwork.

Don't forget the Trolley for a fun ride between venues.

Come out an enjoy and evening of Art, Wine and Music in Downtown Newberg.

It's coming in 2 weeks.  The June edition of ARTwalk.  Lots of fun things happening.
Pulp & Circumstance is celebrating thier 1 year Anniversary.  It's hard to beleive it's been a year.  P & P is such a fixture in the community that if feels as if they have been here longer than that.
Purple Cow Tasting Room has joined The Fox Farm Wine Bar in the 606 E First St location.
Rendered is trading libations for food for F.I.S.H. Bring two cans or non-perishable food item.
Francis Square:  Chehalem Garden Club, artistic containers, techniques and tips for summer planting, your gardening questions answered.  Herb enhanced treats with herbs from the Hoover Minthorn Garden

There is so much happening that you need to get on down here to Downtown Newberg for the June 6 ARTwalk

Remeber we won't be having ARTwalk in July as it falls on the 4th and we want everyone to enjoy the holiday with friends, family and fireworks.  See you August 1st, 'cause we be back then.
