Jacquelyn Faulkner Schroeder and Jerry Sutzman
Jacquelyn Faulkner Schroeder of Jacquelyn's Studio Arts, LLC has been painting this summer in the out-of-doors to live music each week on Thursdays at the McMinnville Farmer's Market. Painting in an improvisational and very dynamic style she lays on images in a wet-on-wet application of acrylic on loose canvas or hemp backgrounds. After drying and receiving a clear coat, these paintings are mounted on traditional stretchers or beaded with silver- or brass-plated pewter beads onto stretched and painted canvas backgrounds. There is an immediacy of expression in these paintings that is refreshing and approachable. Enjoy!
